George G. Kunevich

 George G. Kunevich Lecturer of the Constitutional Law Department of the Law Faculty.

In 1996 he graduated from the Law Faculty of the BSU. Since 1990 till 1998 George G. Kunevich was a deputy of Minsk City Council of Deputies. Since 1997 he has been working at the Law Faculty full-time. His scientific interests are in the legal status of public administration bodies, local government, electoral law and the legal status of public associations. He lectures on Administrative Law, and special courses in Local Government and Local Government in the Republic of Belarus and Foreign Countries.

Publications include;
«Youth Rights in the Republic Belarus.» (Minsk, 1998)
In the book the authors examine the legal status of youth and the way the state carries out youth policy in Belarus.

«Peculiarities of Election Law of Post-Soviet Countries” / (co-authored) (Minsk, 1999).
The monograph considers the legal and organizational aspects of elections in Belarus and neighboring countries, provides the description of the main stages and subjects of electoral process.

Municipal Law of the Republic of the Belarus: course-book (Minsk, 2004).
The book contains the questions and topics of the course "Municipal Law": its curriculum and plans for lectures and seminars on the course, as well as the list of research paper topics for students’ self-studying.
