Application of discourse analysis in political researches of the international relations. The article is devoted to the possibilities of using discourse-analysis in political researches of the international relations. The article defines the object and the subject of discourse-analysis according to the field of study: a global communication space and conceptual discourses. Distinct features of modern global communication space are revealed. The basic components of the analysis of a discourse are indicated, including social context, communicative situation, coded message and consciousness of subjects of a discourse. The article also determines three types of global discourse which are global neoliberal discourse, civilization or ethnocentric discourse and discourse of new innovative strategies of global development.

The modern global challenges in the context of the struggle for discursive control over the world communication space.Article purpose is to consider a configuration of the modern global challenges in the context of the struggle for discourse control over the world communicative space and the further statement of the international problems on the international agenda. In the article introduction the short review of the literature on the research problem is given, it is also shown that modern international relations have semisubject structure in which the significant role belongs to “countries-globalizers” or “locomotives” of the world / regional development and to “subjects-troublemakers” who aspire to operate outside the established norms and rules of cooperation in the world arena. It is shown that change of priority questions in the international agenda leads to strengthening of national protectionism, populism, leads to so-called “de-globalization”. In the basic part of article the author has concentrated on consideration of the global sociopolitical space reformatting in all spheres. It is shown that the comprehension of the specified tendency reveals in terms “global risks”, “global challenges”, “global threats”, “crisis”. The author shows that there is a struggle for discursive control over the world communicative space for domination in the ideologically-symbolical space. Definition of global challenges is connected with an estimation of the world processes through the prism of subjects’ identities of the global sociopolitical space and with the interpretation conflict of these processes. Author's definition of the global challenge is given; the manifest and latent challenges are considered. In the conclusion the global challenges which prevent the resolution of conflicts of the modern development are defined: a cosmopolitism challenge, a struggle for discourse control over the world communicative space, an uncertainty manipulation, “hegemony of cultural” and a creation of zones of controllable instability. In end directions of the modern challenges regulation of the world development are designated.

The position of the Republic of Belarus in the structure of the modern global social and political space. The article is devoted to the analysis of the position of the Republic of Belarus in the structure of the global socio-political space. The article defines the international subjectivity of the state which is the power ability to influence the dynamics of international relations, i.e. to design a socio-political space at the regional or global level. Also the factors forming the international subjectivity are identified. These factors include place in the geopolitical space, belonging to global conceptual discourses, strategies of national development and international interaction, presence at information and communication networks, participation in global development and contribution to the "common good" of humanity.

It is concluded that the modern positioning of states is carried out in a coordinate system created by geopolitical and discursive factors at the same time. The discursive factor is associated with the influence of global conceptual discourses. Global conceptual discourses are the most influential globally discourses of subjects of international relations that offer a comprehensive, systematized set of views on current processes taking place in the global socio-political space and the goals that these processes must achieve. The geopolitical factor is defined as the influence of national strategies of countries considered as global leaders.

The geopolitical and discursive influence on Belarus includes influence of the EU, Russia and China. It is determined that in condition of increased tension of international relations on the Eurasian continent, Belarus becomes an object of influence simultaneously from several civilizational discourses and national strategies. The answer to this challenge is the development of Belarus' own strategy directed to deepening cooperation in the region and overcoming the vulnerabilities of a unilateral approach in foreign policy and international relations. Nevertheless, Belarus still needs to strengthen its presence at the global communication space. Activity in the information and communication networks would help to highlight and promote initiatives which Belarus makes at the international level.

Determination of national and foreign policy priorities of the state in the conditions of global challenges extension. The article is devoted to the analysis of the influence of modern global challenges on the formation of national and foreign policy priorities of the state on the example of the Republic of Belarus and neighboring countries. Program documents devoted to national security of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine and the USA have been analyzed. The regional context of formation of foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Belarus is considered. It is established that the main foreign policy priority of the Republic of Belarus in the context of increasing tension in the European region is the confrontation de-escalation between the Euro-Atlantic community and Russia.
