1. Neo-Marxist’s age-old experience: results and prospects of neo-Marxist’s capitalism theory (2022, Journal of the Belarusian State University. Sociology, № 3, in. English, https://doi.org/10.33581/2521-6821-2022-3-65-71). Neo-Marxist’s research program in social science exists in epistemological crisis condition. Excessive criticism, ideological engagement as well as final obscurity of capitalism are among the problems of neo-Marxism. As a result, there is no scientific answer on a key question of Marxism discussion why capitalism as a system of public mastery is still alive. Finish of crisis of neo-Marxist’s research program presumes presence of positivist’s finding in neo-Marxist’s research and applying of theory of complexity for efficient cognition of complicated system of capitalist’s reproduction. Complexity theory deconstruction of neo-Marxist’s concept of capitalism is realised in three main routes, such as theory of ideology, global order and revolution. There are three author’s conceptions overcoming current neo-Marxist’s problems are among results of present research. They are the conception of capitalist’s ideological minimalism, conception political support of global capitalism and the conception of ecological destruction of capitalism. Complexity theory deconstruction brings neo-Marxism back to scientific detection of objective factors of capitalist’s transformation within the framework of classical Marxist’s tradition but on the level of new theoretical and empiric determination.

2. Three problems of neo-Marxism, or What you need to know before using a neo-Marxist approach (2021, Journal of the Belarusian State University. Sociology, № 3, in. Rus. https://doi.org/10.33581/2521-6821-2021-3-38-46). The maturity of the neo-Marxist approach in cognition is determined not only by the heuristics of its theoretical and methodological foundations, but also by self-critical reflection. Three initial problems of the neo-Marxist approach are identified, which are useful to take into account when using it in scientific research: excessive criticism of neo-Marxist cognition, ideological bias of the neo-Marxist approach, conceptual uncertainty of capitalism as an object of neo-Marxism. It is proved that the ideological component is falsely identified with all neo-Marxism, and the critical component is treated trivially. The problem of the neo-Marxist approach lies not in the fact of a negative judgment about the reality under study, but in the level of theoretical and methodological support for the critical approach. It is necessary to distinguish criticism as a negative judgment and criticism as a dialectical logic of negation. The researcher can avoid the critical and ideological component of neo-Marxist research within the framework of the scientific tradition of neo-Marxism. This tradition does not deprive the researcher of the possibility of scientific search for new socio-economic reasons for the transformation of capitalism or new political ones by the subject of anti-capitalist resistance. The difference is that the ideological goal setting orients the researcher to the construction of the revolutionary situation of capitalism, and the scientific one – to the knowledge of the revolutionary factors of the existing «capitalist construct». More complex problem of the neo-Marxist approach is the conceptual uncertainty of capitalism. This problem requires a solution at the level of the community of neo-Marxist theorists. The unresolved nature of this problem affects the initial positions of new neo-Marxist studies. It does not allow us to define capitalism as an object of neo-Marxist research of any subject orientation. There are two options for a research strategy in this situation. First, it is possible, based on the conventional concept of truth, to join some neo-Marxist definition of modern capitalism and implement one’s subject research within the framework of the tradition of a particular neo-Marxist theorist. Secondly, it is possible to use the hypothetical-deductive method and proceed from the chosen understanding of capitalism as a hypothetical position, where the author’s subject of research is constituted as a consequence of this hypothesis and requires a verification check for truth. The solvability of general neo-Marxist epistemological problems means that there are no obstacles to the widespread application of neo-Marxism in social cognition.

3. Marx and virtual reality: the evolution of the area of anti-capitalist struggle (2018, Journal of the Belarusian State University. Sociology, № 1, in Rus.). The genesis, evolution and development trend of the Marxist values (classical Marxism, Leninism and neo-Marxism) were revealed. In axiological dimension, Marxism is a coherent process of developing the value of practice. Within the framework of the Marxist-Leninist tradition, an analytical attention was paid to the active violent action. Neo-Marxists suggested another interpretation of the value of practice which are the concepts of Cultural Revolution and self-organization and self-reproduction of masses. We suggest the potential of virtual reality as an area free from capitalism to become a new branch of Marxist thought. The threat is that capital can resolve class contradictions by declaring virtuality as the area of «consumer compensation». It is the IT elite, which being at the forefront of modern Marxism, can implement the concept of virtual overcoming of global alienation.

4. Marxism development: methodological possibilities of synergetics struggle (2017, Journal of the Belarusian State University. Sociology, № 2, in Rus.). Objective of the article is to reveal methodological synergy (theory of complexity) opportunities for the development of Marxism. Methodological basis of the research contained general scientific methods (historic, comparative, system method) and a private method of social science (content-analysis). Phased formation of the Marxism was analyzed. Particular methodological synthesis of Marxism and Freudianism, existentialism, phenomenology, structuralism and semiotics were revealed. Methodological difficulties of modern Marxism in describing the global order and the methodological possibilities of synergy to overcome them were determined. New methodology of social cognition - synergistic Marxism – was proposed. Object, subject, aim and tasks of synergistic Marxism were indicated. Materials of the article may be used in educational process and scientific research.

5 Politological neo-Marxism: history, methodology, theory (2017, in Rus.). Theoretic methodological neo-Marxism tools of politics cognition and its heuristic significance were revealed in the dissertation. Fundamental generalization of politological neo-Marxism was made. Genesis of the neo Marxism was analyzed. The role of the neo-Marxism in political research was described. Author’s definition of neo-Marxism was given. Concept and structure of politological neo-Marxism were identified. Basic methodological principles of political research in the neo-Marxism were distinguished for the first time and paradigm of it was formulated. Political neo Marxism conceptions were generalized into directions (conceptual comprehension of political essence, theory of ideology, of global order, of revolution and of social transformation). A holistic tools of theoretic neo-Marxism approach of political research was obtained for the first time. Conceptual neo Marxism apparatus of political research was distinguished. Political neo-Marxism concepts were defined in an author’s glossary.
